The Royal Route and
a Mysterious Book Thriller
A Walk Through Prague with Robert Langdon

Watch the trip trailer:
What to expect?
Beyond the Royal Route, once taken by Czech kings on their way to coronation, you will follow in the footsteps of the book’s main characters. You’ll see where the mysterious Golem lived, where Robert and Katherine stayed, where Robert went for his runs, and where he encountered a ghost. You’ll visit the spot where he jumped into the Vltava River, where he and Katherine shared their first kiss, and where they hid from someone who was breathing down their necks.
Your journey will take you from the Powder Tower through Old Town Square, past Klementinum, across Charles Bridge, and up Nerudova Street to Prague Castle, ending at Golden Lane and the Daliborka Prison.
Highlights & Logistics:
The Route: You will visit, pass by, or see 17 locations mentioned in the book.
Distance & Time: The walk is 4.5 km long and takes 3–6 hours (it will take longer if you choose to go inside the monuments).
Content: You can look forward to about an hour of audio commentary, 19 playful tasks, puzzles, and questions across 19 stops.
Guidance: I will provide context and extra info for every stop, and a map will guide you throughout the entire route.
A Closer Look at the Book
We’re going to dig deep into the story. I’ll cover 15 Czech specialties Dan Brown mentions in his book, along with dozens of locations, facts, and personalities he writes about. What is fact, and what is just creative license? What is total nonsense that could never actually happen? Which locations from the book don’t even exist in Prague—and which ones are very real?
Entrance Fees: On Your Own
Entrance to monuments is not included in the tour price. However, I’ll give you tips on which ones are worth visiting, how and where to buy tickets, and what the prices are. Even if you choose not to go inside, my photos, texts, and videos will give you a great look at what’s inside—especially the places where key scenes took place (like the Baroque Library at Klementinum or St. Wenceslas Chapel in St. Vitus Cathedral, with its door secured by seven locks).
How to Start?
Buy the tour and you can set off immediately. All you need is your phone and headphones. If you’re walking with family or friends, bring a portable speaker so you can listen together. You only need to buy the tour once—multiple people can enjoy it (and split the cost) by scanning the same QR code to join a single shared game. When one person solves a task, it’s solved for everyone. There are 19 tasks waiting for you—one at every stop.
Please Note
My audio walk was not created in official cooperation with Dan Brown or his Czech publisher, Argo. I was simply inspired by his book and characters. As someone who loves guiding people through Prague and enjoyed Brown’s latest novel, I couldn't resist when he released The Secret of All Secrets and set almost the entire story in our capital. I wanted to experience the book in real life and test what adds up and what doesn't. Now, you can find out with me and see Prague through the eyes of one of today’s best-selling authors.
